Bro most of the comments are not helpful look on gen 2 or loot loot crates for good sadle bps then you have a Rex for the boss fights.

For fiber best is sickle

For hide and animal or an axe

And for metal ankylosaurus or an pick

Please note that if you see a really big "rex" and you scope in on it and it says "giganoto" or something like that, if you can tame it. Then put a rex saddle on it (doesn't work)

I hunt rex for games. And claim arma and bunch of stuff i mean i'll have everything for this dino im just not ready to tame one them yet. But they make a game fun to hunt im already lvl 78. Find 8 of them and shoy them all

The underwater caves on the "TheIsland" map are THE best way to obtain quality rex saddles, if you don't have that option I have a few recommendations:

Valguero: There a easy cave with no dinos where you can get 2 Yellow Loot Drops, 2 Blue Loot Drops and 2 Red Loot Drops, just make sure you have a flyer, a perfect one would be the Pteranodon

Ragnarok: Do runs in the ice cave, but make sure to grab the Loot Drops in the area before you grt into the actual caves, just lure the bears down the cliff if they agro on you

Abb: Well, basically just the Loot Drops sadly.

Extinction: Yellow, Red or Purple OSD, I recommend the Red one though

Gen/Gen2: Honestly, Pay2Win, just do the missions

Scorched Earth: Desert drops

Crystal Isles: Land drops located in the snow biome

Hope that this helped a few people, and it will take some time to get the saddles, just do not give up, it'll be worth it.

Tame a Rex closer to level 74 because it is easy to get a satle

Swamp cave in the redwoods on the Island map seems to have a high chance of having really good rex saddles/BP in the red drops in there

On multiple different servers I always seemed to get a BP

If you have a tapajara latch onto Mountain or the crossbow Trank then feed prime meat I have a level 23

Normal map east near the winter biome

Easiest to acquire materials mid to late game, and is best to accumulate fiber and hide early game. You should get a decent amount of metal smelled before you even have the saddle engram.

If you see big rexes at mountains or hills and its name is giganto and he is fast then you cant use rex saddle on it.

If it is a big Rex it not a Rex but a giga they r more deadly. Also I wanna tame a Rex at level 44 or later.
