If you are having trouble getting enough narcotics for both tranq arrows and keeping it asleep like I did. You can use an equus to jump over a trap, then go in with your equus and knock it out using its kick. I like this method because I find that not much can go wrong when an equus go's 1v1 with this roid tweety. Just make sure your equus has enough points in stamina because fighting will drain its stamina quickly if your not careful. A trap is not required but it's good for keeping other mega chickens from intervening while you feed their buddy narcotics. And if you see that you are low on stamina while not using a trap then you are much better served trying to jump away rather than fight off a small pack.

If these are near your base don’t try to fight them off, move house.

Taming a terror bird won't be easy because they come in packs of 3. So if you want one of them just kill the other 2 and tame the one you want. Mainly to tame one you'll need bolas, tranq arrows or a club to knock it out. Its preferred kibble or raw meat works faster and mutton.

Can be quite easily taken down with a decent flyer (argy/strong ptery) but if on foot you can bola them and get away while you have the chance. Otherwise yee are deaaadd

Not sure if others have this problem too, but I shot 30-40 tanq arrows at a level 40 terrorbird’s head and it refused to be knocked out. Moral of the story: if your bird refuses to be knocked out, don’t waste more arrows.

If these guys attack you while carrying them with an argy just attack it and it’ll stop until you drop it.

I would like wild card to lower down the percentage of terror birds because when I am taming something in the red woods terror birds would come and kill me and my tame

The Terror bird is hands down the best tame to use to clear the lava caves. Their gliding ability allows them to easily cross gaps with little worry of falling in. Good base stats for a cave runner terror bird is 2000 Hp and 300 melee. After imprinting pump Hp between 3000-5000 and pump the rest into melee.

It’s like terror birds are cheetahs and dodos are snails. Yea also upgrade his speed to 300% you should go faster then anything in the game

They are called a Terror Bird for a reason you should be afraid.

These guys are like raptors but raptors can pin stuff while these guys can’t but what these guys can do is glide which makes the useful in more Rocky Mountain areas

Use sickles when you go to fight these guys. Any other weapon seems pointless with these jerks.

Get pike recommend that is if you don’t want to get jumped by these they attack me in a pack with my bronto diplo and turtle it was easy they don’t have that much health

They can glide by holding down the jump button, stopping fall damage and allowing them to traverse across canyons and steep mountains with ease.

If you don’t have a Thylaceo or Megalania, these are the go to mounts for the Carno Island and Lava caves as they can glide over gaps and glide down steep drops.
