The Deinonychus was a vicious pack hunter. It surrounded its prey and in turn, each hunter dashed in and used their razor sharp sickle claw to inflict slashing wounds. The prey would soon die of exhaustion and blood-loss.

They were about 10 feet long and 5 feet tall. The could probably run as fast an ostrich. In Jurassic Park, the Velociraptors portrayed are more akin to Deinonychus.
