A Quick guide to quickly taming an itchy on mobile

1. Craft Dodo Kibble in the cooking pot(the recipe can be gotten from the fresh breakfast quest)

2. Obtain and follow the tame quest for the itchy

3. Clear the area of threats(these will mainly be mantas and megs)

4. Find an itchy using the map location from the quest

5. Feed it the kibble, this will instantly tame it

6. Complete the quest by naming it

7. Equip your new saddle to your new friend

So long as it isn’t fed raw meat, you will have a mount that is treated as neutral to all creatures, making it a good early fish meat harvesting mount.

Once I tamed one of these and named it itchy. Itchy got his name from when I don’t mount him he always twitches around like his whole body got infested by fleas. Once I played with my friend and we were traveling to dodo island when a random sarco came out of nowhere and started biting my friend. I ordered my trike (Tina) to get rid of that thing. But Tina fell into the water and attracted megalodons. We didn’t have any cargo on that raft so we abandoned it immediately and I jumped onto Itchy and he was insane fast and swam away before the megolodons could react. Sadly for my friend and Tina that they died and my friend lost all his gear because he did not have one of these. Itchy was a real life saver for me. A good starter mount for starters.

Since there's no way to post it on the actual creatures wall I think I should warn everyone whilst taming these beautiful ichthyosaurus watch out and I mean watch out for any Cnidaria jellyfish they will shock you to oblivion I was caught taming when 4 of these guys jumped me and I absolutely freaked out

So yeah Cnidaria are easy to kill but keep your distance!

Ok so I was taming an icthy for xp from the quest, and it actually tames quicker with normal meat. So when you are taming, feed them normal meat. It was faster for me on mobile.

(Mobile) The friendliest creature in the ocean and possibly the entire island. It will never attack you, even if you hit it repeatedly and have ammonite rage status on you. It might not seem cute to you, but you're a true monster if you kill them on purpose.

It’s easy to tame :-

First:go find one in the oecan

Second:grab some raw fish meat

Third:feed them

(In fact:They are very friendly so don’t worry)

(In fact2:don’t try to hit them them will give you a free tame)

Me and some other people made a mistake... SORRY!!! They tame way faster with normal raw meat than fish meat. I would recommend dodo kibble though, just to be honest!

Take a tame with you it will try to play with it and stay close by so you can tame it easily! I don’t know if this only works on mobile

Tamed because everyone said nothing Aggros it, placed it in water, went to go drop my items in storage before setting off..."Ichtyosaurus was killed by Megalodon" Ocean just ain't for me maaannnn

Prepare kible, prepare Lazarus chowder, find one,use Lazarus chowder, hook it with grapling hook, feed and tame

Basically the equivalent of a kid who eats adderall for breakfast lunch and dinner.

These things are extremely fast and never stop moving. Just upgrade speed and stam!

Wait so a meg can jump out of the water but not these guys

If you are struggling with getting silica pearls and dont have scuba gear, these are great for finding them underwater on the center. Just look in the rivers and you'll have plenty after!

MOBILE PLAYERS: I have tested it, and NOTHING, I mean NOTHING attacks you. This includes jellyfish, anglers, mosas, megs, EVERYTHING. HOWEVER. This only applies if you DO NOT attack the thing in question (or ammonites), and in my experience this makes it perfect for scouting out high-level potential tames

If you go near one and it starts to chase you its not mad they act like dolphins they just wanna be your friend

to the person who lost mini you did say you were on mobile so why didn’t you just request her?

When tame one of these level up their stamina like crazy because these guys are already the FLASH so when you do that just go anywhere on your map

If it swims up to you and you have not hit it is not agressive, it’s just a happy boi and wants some fish!

Best tame ever. Now you bloodthirsty chat members will down vote bc of me saying this but hear me out. If it dies just get one from the seemingly infinite amount of them and tame it. The saddle is the easiest thing to make ever so make it and mount it! I got a lvl 10 Basi with this and surprisingly it had no protection around it. I was able to tame it so now I have my lvl 40 basi, Davy Jones.

Seriously get this it can kill megs, the carbonemes of the sea!
