Im on mobile and was doing the pursuit for this one didnt actually know what it looked like could only see mega piranha and ca-whatever then i saw this croc thing so i thought maybe its more friendly than it looks and it was a scaro and chased me onto the beach i then just started spearing it got it to half health died then came back to see a triceratops kill it and leave me the rewards
Electrophorus' attack these, despite what ark wiki says. While mounted I passed one and got electrocuted and almost had her die.
So never Be Near A Megalodon cause I Saw One And Ran
And I saw One Get Eaten alive Also They are Crazy fast
At the time of writing this, the dex says simple kibble, it's regular.
Can be found on West shores, prepare your dodo egg kibble and tame it
All I had to do when taming it was find one and follow it around on a raft while feeding it
After the first feeding the itchy will swim away, but it comes back soon to play with you, so be prepared to spam feeding button if it is close to you...try to move a little bit in it‘s direction
If you don't have a trap nearby, flippers are a must for this tame, also found hovering on a griffin between feeds to keep track of it is very useful!!!
When I tamed my first one that was a Lvl 115 I got it stuck in a rock then then I slapped meat to its face.
For taming I just try to swim towards it as close as I can and give it some raw meat apparently on my game of ark (which is on mobile) I cannot directly feed it dodo kibbles
If you don't plan to trap it on a fully enclosed area, be sure to craft a saddle first. As soon as it gets tamed, megalodons and mantas all over will try to get a piece of the thing, so bolt away as fast as you can.
Easy to tame early game lead it close too the shore and by that i mean so close that the Thatch-walls that stand on the Thatch-foundations you just put down is higher than the surface.
The eating intervals are far greater apart than 19 seconds. I was chasing a 145 dolphin around for 15 minutes constantly checking to feed it or not. When it did eat it felt more like 1 to 2 minutes or three before it would eat again. Highly recommended you eat some focal chili and then swim after it with flippers. Even with a base oxygen and 100 and movement speed of 100 you'll still be able to out swim it.
It is great when they are stuck inside a rock because the can not get away when taming.
