Interchange letting it pick you and your moschops/pig up to keep 100% effectiveness, but after it pass 70% completed and is still on 100% efficacy, use a carefully timed elixir (easiest in a pen) to potentially get a perfect 225 on a 150 instead of 224. 😊

It's not necessary to have blood packs in your hotbar slot, you just have to have them in your inventory.

Do not raise these with a maewing and go out render distance it will cause the babies to starve!

This is really not the way to do it but if you just want one this is a ok way to go about it.

What I did was place a bed and a stone foundation and looked for a bat and that really all I did although I would recommend that you place the bed and foundation when you find your bat so you don’t have to be far away

If you are on console. Hold left joystick top diagonal either right or left. Then angle right joystick towards your preferred direction and it will cancel out the flying noise. Hit up if it worked for you.

Someone said that you can steal wyvern eggs with the invisibility, but I tried and they saw me after I took the egg anyway, because to grab the egg you must get off the desmodus, and the wyverns see it, so it may be good for getting in, but getting out is another story. upgrade speed for your wyvern stealing desmodus (if the server has flyer speed on)

Easy on small tribes during event but net/bola all kill ones u don't want and then tame one at a time or 2 but if on regular settings tame lower level ones than higher and really good tames

These things should be on Gen 2. Fjordur keeps crashing and I need to tame one

Don’t waste your time with Blood packs, especially on the first tamed Desmodus. Set up a bunch of sleeping bags and kamikaze your avatar repeatedly until the Desmodus is tamed. Also, don’t forget a tanky creature the Desmodus can pick up and feed off of to make sure the tame is 100%.

Babies will not eat meat from a trough or inventory if it is also holding blood packs.. big teeth and wings.. little brain.

From what I’ve read and seen, these things are pretty much better Tapejaras

FASTEST CREATURE IN ARK. While flying, aim straight down and move sideways. Legit flies at double the speed of wyverns.

So far with my testing which while minimal is effective this is the best strategy for taming. Tame a high HP moschops and pump HP in it till it’s at 10K then heal it, and take it to a place with desmodus. Place it and put around 400 blood bags in it or more depending on your server rates. Once that’s done just let desmodus feast on it till it’s at 100% effectiveness should take a few cycles and it can be time consuming, once it’s 100% just let it eat you and when it drops you the effectiveness might go down but just let it eat the moschops and rinse and repeat and then boom, Done

These things are rideable so they will make a great flyer but if a enemy has one you need to run away

The desmodus should be a reason ark is a horror game

Oh man! I tried to get a desmodus in to aberration, but when I finally got to the terminal and threw the cryo pod, it said at the top of my screen, “class not allowed”. Then I was killed by nameless and lost my 120 desmodus. So sad. So don’t try to get a flying tame in aberration.
