Tame a bad level first than tame high level with the blood packs that it gives you

These will eat meat as a baby but it will only gain 10 food so it wasted on it. Feed it blood packs from a maewing. Blood packs give it 200 food and its food drains quite slowly. Just remember to use preserving salts to double the bloods timer.

Not CRAZY hard to tame, but still hard

All you need is:

About 300 bloodpacks (Probably overkill)

A daedon (leveled in health, also put 100 bloodpacks in its inventory)

An andrewsarchus (idk if you need a saddle or no, but this will be your shelter)

Keep the remaining 200 bloodpacks in your inventory, and find your bat and set up camp. Send out your daedon by the bat. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING NEARBY IS PASSIVE. Go run under your daedon and wait for the bat to attack and pick up your pig. This will boost its effectiveness. After that, let him pick YOU up. This will tame the creature. Rinse and repeat

This upgraded Onyc is insane! Not only is it rideable, it can turn invisible, making it much easier to sneak in and out of enemy territory undetected! However, in the scenario that the enemy DOES detect you, you can confuse them with a loud, shrill shriek, or pick the enemy up! Let’s hope this beast doesn’t get nerfed, it’s pretty OP

You can do it with no blood packs but you need a crap ton of med brews

Not going to lie, as i am a big fan of bats, i know that the desmodus is a prehistoric vampire bat and that it might work like the blood crystal wyvern but no matter what i just what it to be tamable and big enough to ride.

Best part of a desmodus is that they can fly in caves

Booodpacks work as a viable source of food for the baby’s

As no one mentioned this at all the effectiveness goes up depending on the HP of the tame you are "feeding" it I find daedons are the best way as they have a high health stat

You can attack the back of a titanosaur to get near infinite blood packs (and elixirs) one bite=one blood pack

Easy tame, Ride on andrewsarchus and shoot with fab or longneck, get it to attack high hp moschops and then run under it with blood packs. Great flyer on day 2. Tamed 3 in under 30mins.

A really cool idea for the Desmodus (since it's a vampire bat) is basically give it blood offerings by giving it unconcious dinos to feed onto... or yourself if you're brave enough. The bigger the dino, the faster/better the tame. ALSO I second the petition to make this the cryopod icon, most definitely!

If your taming something use its screech to check nothing wants to kill it

As of right now on Tuesday 6/14/22 they use less blood packs then the taming calculator says, I would still bring more then needed though about 80/120 blood packs for 130-150 tames, once you tame one just using basic right trigger atacks on wild dinos will get you blood packs back for more desmodus tames!

If you carry enough blood pack you will accidentally tame them all. lol guess ive got an army now.
