If u want to do the mini game on Xbox u want to use dpad twice

Can somebody please explain how to do the mini game on Xbox ?

Set a c4 near it and run up to close distance and get its aggro.

After you ran safely passed the c4 and it’s close doesn’t have to be right on top as long as the splash dmg hits, it’ll get stunned showing blue stats above its head for about 3 seconds.

You can control it so just do a couple jumps turn around so you’re heading back to your tame or bag or whatever safe spot you set up.

Rinse and repeat.

A couple things I noticed. Adding any input that’s extra after you complete the 4 it requires per jump (use the dpad btw not the analog for the tricks)

Adding an extra flip really bumped up the bar for me. At most on official with 2x rates I used 4 c4 per tame of a 150. But bring 10 until you’re used to it.

If you mess up and get kicked just lay another c4 and ur good. Super easy tame.

You gotta use an explosive to knock it out of the ground like a faso. But instead of knocking it out you need to jump and do tricks. It will show a set of 4 directional inputs, you need to double tap the buttons for the inputs to follow through as well.

It supposably travels in a pack maybe like raptors

Fasola + raptor = concavenator

Instead of using c4 or explosives you can use a Tek rifle alot safer also double tap what ever direction it tells you super easy to tame with that

Tried the old taming but the c4s js killed them, all were 150 and i used a single c4 for every single one

On console like Xbox use the arrows and double tap for each input, so for left double tap the left d pad arrow

They typically spawn with 2-3 in a pack and will aggro very fast

We (my and my bro) just built a house at the edge of the desert and From the cliff we live we can see 2 conc just jumping up and doing tricks, and I have to say, asa is beautiful

So apparently this is getting a massive tlc much like the cryo. So it’s gonna have new abilities and maybe even a different model than the ASE mod version (ps I’m hyped for the Brachi to come and for garugas collection to be complete)

On PC the arrows correspond to the WASD keys. You have to jump first, then double tap each key to clearn the input. When it turns green, hit the next one. You can immediately start the tame again when the timer runs out and you get kicked off, no cool down. I used a rek rifle to make it pop out if the sand but grenades, c4, ect...work also.

The small glass window on that saddle isn’t for looks.

It prevents sandstorm effects

I think this is gonna be like a counterpart to fasos. Kind of like Meg’s and Helicos

It's surprisingly good at traversing vertical terrain, but sometimes you'll bounce away and fall all the way back down, but i takes no fall damage while swimming on the ground. You can sorta chain your jumps, and i you do it for enough time, you can basically glide. And as of Augut 28th, creatures cannot seem to attack it, and even lose aggro after sometime. It sucks on water though. Also right now, putting a torch on it's saddle causes the torch to appear very tiny floating between it's feet.

HOW TO TAME A CONCAVENATOR:

1: Bring either grenades or a rocket launcher (recommended). and some sort of strong gun or weapon (cactus broth optional)

2: then find you concavenator and use the explosive on its head and it will become stuned

3:ride it and you will start a minigame.

4: in the minigame the concavenator will jump and while jumping there will be 4 arrows that you need to click down up right or left in the order the numbers are displayed.

If you fail to match the pattern you will be knocked off.

If so then use granades or rockets to stun it again.

Keep doing this till tamed!

How do I tame this thing it’s so hard

This was the original sand shark before the Fasolasuchus and was originally part of the ark additions mod in ASE. It was tamed by blowing up C4 until you knock it out. It had the ability to stir up choking dust clouds and jump out of the sand. It will be added to ASA as an official base game creature on August 26. Hopefully it gets a little buff and maybe a new ability but will definitely be a fun travel mount. Can’t wait to ride this long awaited creature!

Xbox players, clear the first 4 items in your hotbar so you dont pull something out and cancel the tame. Then just double press what ever buttons it says on the d-pad =)
