If you can't make a canteen bring around a tame with decent weight/speed and put water jars in it's inventory so you don't have to carry them at 3,000 pounds

Remember that is will leak overtime.
Drincc up
Because of leakage it's unlikely to last until you need it most, when you're water is low. I recommend drinking when you've lost 50 water, and use that time to find more water
