People saying use Doedicurus or Ferox, as far as I’m aware on extinction if you’ve got a good bred Mantis hit the element nodes when you finish the defense with a pick or hatchet doesn’t matter pick the one with the highest melee(remember to hit the big node last otherwise it destroys all the other smaller nodes) to get tons of element dust, element shards and actual boss element. Also for the tek creatures, enforcers and droidekas (defense unit) in the sanctuary biome use the chainsaw it’s far superior to any creature. Tested on extinction.

To get this, you need to kill tek creatures. Also, use a chainsaw to maximize the amount of element dust. You can also get this from enforcer and defense unit.
Once you open the engram Element fron Ext, you can craft Element from the dust. Use a weight Argy and pump points into Doedic's weight as well to take more swings per flight. They do not get extra dust from melee points. Have been farming for a while to know the difference now 🙂
When you are in the Extinction Map: Hit the Lamps, benches and Tables in the City with a Doedi. You get a lot of dust! Easy way to get Full Tech Armor.
Take a good doed to extinction stay in sanctuary and attack every light poll and bench you see they pay out heavy in dust, electronics and crystal
Guys even though you can’t transfer element you can transfer element dust and it can be turned back into element with tek rep. You can also convert element into this with tek rep or at city terminal i think
You can breed tek animals and kill the babies with a chainsaw and bam your farming element dust
