The place where you will find the most silica pearls guaranteed thats not in the ocean is in the river in the northwest part of the map. Warning that this river is for the most part head deep and murky in some parts even on old ark mobile and it cuts through some cold areas so you need fur or scuba pants. If you go to the pond area next to the snow cave you will find loads but spinos or barys can spawn. If you head up north all the way to where the river ends then turn east there's also alot of silica pearls on the shores. On pc and ume silica pearls can't spawn on herbivore island.

However if you dont wanna fly all the way to the corner of the map you might as well tame an angler since 95% of the silica pearls on the map are in waters that are head deep or deeper and can fit an angler, chances are the closest silica pearls to your base are in the ocean, you can ride them without a saddle, they are fast enough to escape anything except tusos, alpha mosas and alpha tusos, and they can harvest 5x more silica pearls by biting them than a human can by picking them up. For example I only get like 20 silica pearls per clam I pick up but my angler gets more than 100 per clam. So just tame an angler any level can work.

if youre raiding beaver dams, then heres some info:

lat 82, lon 58, south zone 2 arch island, a common beginner base area

dangers: a single sarco occasionally, rarely theris or raptors that wander out of the forest

lat 72, lat 44, the river between the southern islets and the footpaw

dangers: basically none, but raptors and carnoes can wander out of the forest rarely

lat 56, lon 29, the northwestern pool end of the river around the redwoods

dangers: raptors, rarely a spino, sometimes terror birds, sometimes carnos, but don't imagine all of them at once

lat 48, lon 63, where the redwoods river and northeastern river meet (smugglers pass)

dangers: raptors, rarely a spino, sometimes terror birds, sometimes carnos

lat 42, lon 67, where 3 rivers meet in smugglers pass, "giga pillar" area

just raid all beaver dams in one area, then kill the beavers, plus a few additional creatures to free up more spawn space, move to another area, do the same thing again

Underwater

Just use an angler fish, he's a god in farming these.

On mobile casual, grind riot shields and scuba masks, trust me, it will add up while you are grinding for amber and polymer/metal ingots

If you want silica pearls just tame an angler and go to fertile lake on abberation, got a couple thousand in like 5 mins on 3x

Go to the transition between snow and beach in the west, you should find tons of em (the island)

You can get silica pearls on ragnarok at Viking bay, so if you are new to ark then I would recommend there.

On the island, go to the northern ice beaches- silica pearls really close to the shore, some under ice

If you go to swamp leeches give a little of pearls

First go to the beach of the orange leafed island (bring a insane melee argy) and use a cross bow of those sea scorpions from far when you hit it run (or swim whatever) then jump on the argy when they get close the argy has a larger attak range and insane knock back so just keep whacking them when it dies get of argy whack with metal pick mastercraft is best and boom! infinite chitin and silica pearls! Just off the coast of Carno Peak on the Island, there is a lot of spawns of silica pearls 👍 I usually just bring my angler down there and get all the pearls I need

Phoenix poops these instead of poop sadly he is rare and spawns only during heat wave on scorched earth

If u go drop hunting on genesis 2 some drops will have loads of silicate which is a substitution for silica pearls, and craft the same stuff
