To the guy who asked: you throw the egg down on the ground, most of the time, the egg will say that it is either

Too Hot!

Or

Too Cold!

Depending on what it says, you can either place torches around it to warm it up, or place air conditioners to cool it down.

Also!! The egg must be FERTILIZED. It will have a YELLOW bar along with its spoil bar. When the yellow bar disappears, it will hatch!

Tickle chickens are like a bronto without weight reduction, so in a pinch can net you more than enough berries, but those are mid to late game, so early game go with iguanadons or parasaurs (especially tek). Another thing to keep in mind is that extra berries should go in feeding troughs, preservers, or can be used with thatch to make beer for chalicotheriums

In my opinion the best way to get loads of berries is to use a maewing and use the secondary attack (right click on keyboard and mouse) and attack right before landing on bushes so you do double damage and get more berries and maewings have a 50% weight reduction

Although Iguanodons are low on the list they should be way higher they are amazing for getting berries

Trikes will give you a big advantage and the can take a hit so it doesn’t die right after you tame it it is a very good dinosaur for early in the game

Use an anky and an argy and swing over the top of the bushes. Works like a charm. I swear

Just get an iguanodon early on, they can also give you seeds

To tame a brontosaurus you just need like 50 tranq arrows an shuv then in its face easy

The woolly rhino is good if u know were swampy areas are like the one on valg mine got slot capped

Woolly Rhinos are actually pretty good for berries, as well as bears. Those creatures are pretty fast and can gather a lot of berries in a short amount of time. Perfect for mid-late game gathering to fill your troughs.

Hand pick some berries (mejo berries work best) tame a moschops farm thousands (hundreds) of mejos then knock out a bronto with tranqs then feed it the berries once you’ve tamed a bronto grind metal and other resources cause they can carry up to 10k KG

Use a Procoptodon, with enough weight you can easy slot cap with out being overweight

this is not about berries but on seeds to get rare seeds use chali on cattails

I highly recommend taming a lower rating berry gatherer like a para or igunadon first due to low torpidity and easy to tame
