Prepare to be annoyed when taming these. Always assume the first animation doesn't count and always allow for the percentage to exceed 100%. These things are liars and the amount of time I've been stomped on when there at 100% had started to piss me off.

When their ears are folded back just move away 50 or more meters and then try again.
