Even though these guys are really scary early on, taming one in the mid-to-late game is well worth it—just be careful, build a trap, and have a decent Bronto. Make a trap using four behemoth gateways and two gates; use a high-level Rex to kill the male and lure the female into the trap—then you're all set.
