Its colder inside than you think it is,even with fur armour (some even journeyman) you will still freeze to death. Try to bring a otter to minimize the freezing but if you have a high damage squad you can still kill it easily before you even lose about 100 hp. Just make sure your dinos arent anywhere close to the edge where the void is.
