If you see one you're basically cooked but if you do see one walk backwards and then literally just Sprint away and if you have a trike or a rock Drake there is a chance that you could win a fight against these but if you are new and you only have like a bola and like a bow or slingshot you can bullet and then start spamming the slingshot or bow then you could run away
