The Search For a Basilisk

So I was with two of my friends and we were searching the volcano island on Fjordur for a basilisk. I was on a snow owl using the predator vision to help and my friends were on desmoduses. We searched the entire island multiple times but didn’t find a single one but whenever we went to the island in the past and we weren’t looking for a basilisk there would be so many. Eventually I saw one buried so my friends and I landed next to it to try to agro it but it just stayed buried. After multiple failed attempts to agro it or throw eggs at it, I decided to walk right up to it on foot. Turned out it was a lvl 150 ALPHA basilisk that just didn’t feel like doing anything at the time.
