You need to get out after you have obtained the Artifact, so don't just jump into the pit because you won't spawn with the artifact with you because if you are on any other mode besides casual you will lose all your items. It is not a good time saver with Boss Slayer Guy's strategy of "YOLO LES DO THISSSS" method cuz that guy's on casual mode and never had a sense of playing normally because before 2018 ark didn't have casual or hardcore and was meant to be played on normal mode.
