BlueTalon only saw painful flashes of red with purple swirls. She finally woke up to see the others talking on the shore.

"I was trying to convince StarEyes that we might find the third talon if we stay here" NightTalon said to her.

"Hello, I think I agree with the Microraptor" said an unfamiliar voice.

BlueTalon turned and saw a large ammonite. "I was told to take travellers like you to a safe place" he said. His voice made her WANT to trust him, but she could not entirely.

They swam after the ammonite (despite StarEyes objections), and when StarEyes was out of earshot the ammonite wrapped his tentacles around their throats.

BlueTalon knew what would happen if she fought back, and what would happen if she didn't.

She bit the ammonite with such force that it did the underwater version of a shriek.

It let go, but an alpha mosa came up from below. StarEyes was suddenly there, fighting the mosa.

A megaldon started biting at NightTalons feathers.

BlueTalon scratched at the ammonite.

When the battle was over, they fled onto the beach.

"STAREYES! YOUR LEG!" Screamed NightTalon. Her left back leg, gone. StarEyes collapsed onto the sunbaked sand.

BlueTalon went foward, lightly touching StarEyes on the shoulder. Instantly the wound closed over.

A blinding light filled the beach, no surprise it was FireFly.

"No time, MoonTail is dying. I need to get you to the cave she is in, before it is too late. Only you can save her. She gasped.

"This just got so weird in a matter of minutes" commented NightTalon.

Then hundreds of microraptors came foward, to capture them.
