ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion
6th tip baby!, uh anyway here’s a story:
I was trekking through a nice and surprisingly peaceful red wood forest with my deinonychus companion one day, and then I saw something not unexplainable..but I know it wasn’t just a dinosaur...
Fast forward to when I encountered it…
My Deinonychus..Terri was starting to act strange as soon as the ..creature stepped nearer , this came off as incredibly unnerving coming from a dinosaur usually so fearless even when around Apex predators like Gigas or rexes ….
I tried to control Terri to move back but The creature let out a blood curdling sound that made that almost impossible because all of a sudden
Terri started going haywire and then for whatever reason tried to run off but not before kicking me off the saddle
I looked around in confusion and fear..calling for Terri as I got up , but not before getting out my assault rifle and clutching it tightly ..but as soon as I did I looked up and all I saw was that same thing standing right in front of me that made Terri so afraid..
It looked like nothing, nothing that I’ve ever seen..like no dinosaur that should even be on this ark that I’ve seen so far..
It on one side 4 glowing yellow eyes..the other half of its face looked like it was melting off of it while still alive..except it looked nothing like normal flesh whatsoever..and as I stepped back, not realising I was cornered against a large rock behind me,
It tilted its head-in a way that looked so unnatural it made shivers go down my spine..
And then I saw it , in the dim moonlight I noticed the flicker of small lights along its sides..those lights soon appearing on its face but except on the left side of its face..
I remember just standing there, like I was so mesmerised by it ..and only noticed it drawing closer with its mouth wide open as what looked to be robotic tentacles penetrating out of its skin near where it’s unnaturally lanky clawed arms were moving toward me I snapped out it..I swear I felt like I was just woken up from a bad nightmare as soon as I did..except that wasn’t the case..but whatever that creature did made me feel incredibly drowsy afterwards..
I quickly move out of the wave, lunging myself to the ground away from its jaws and tentacles before it suddenly moved forward and bit down where I was standing a moment ago in such a strange robotic-like motion like it was still thinking that I was there..or maybe better as I can describe..like lag in its system..
Because right then as I got up and begun to moved further away it started turning around slowly..it looked unnaturally unfed for something of its size..and then my attention was caught as I saw metallic -rib like structures protruding through its sides, tiny lights were flashing on the sides of them..and its tail looked like a mixture of flesh and melted iron..with two other tails as well that looked awfully like that of a squids
In fact, as I looked closer all of its scales looked like it was more metallic than organic with only some organic mixed in..
But I was snapped out of my thoughts as it turned around fully, it’s yellow eyes now flashing blue then red to white
Then in a sudden fast motion it lunges forward and I heard the click of something robotic moving and then- right as I aimed my rifle at its head it swung one of its arms at me-and I only barely dodged..it looked like it had a jagged metallic blade sticking out of its elbow…..
It seemed to be lagging once again..I can say lagging now because this thing was no normal dinosaur..more like a lab experiment merged with technology from what I saw.., anyway so I started firing my gun at where I thought where it looked the most vulnerable while I quickly looked around and saw somewhere of safety..a fallen down red wood tree that looked completely hollow inside..i ran over to it quickly not realising it was only biding me time so it could finish doing something i still can’t understand how it’s even possible… ( I shall leave it here now because I must but if anyone’s interested I shall make a part 2 continuation here later!.)
