Its fire attacks can still deal damage to your other tames even when the setting for friendly fire has been disabled on the server, so be very careful when fighting alongside your other creatures. I haven't seen anyone mention it ANYWHERE and found it out myself after nearly charbroiling my ptera, so hopefully this saves anyone else from accidently grilling their tames.
