Island Prologue : Dreaming

Honestly… I’m terrible at telling stories. I forget or get caught in spots, but I’ll try my best to tell you this one, just how I remember it.

But I guess it started when I woke up.

It all started slow, coming to on the beach, sprawled in the wet sand, staring up at the sky above. It looked clearer than I remembered it. I’m not ashamed to say that I didn’t pay any mind, I immediately assumed this was a dream. I didn’t check my hands, I didn’t even look down, just… wanted to see what I could do here…so I got up and walked. Didn’t think too hard about any of this, after all, I always have been one to have dreams when I fixate on things. So naturally, I channeled everything I knew as a gamer and punched a tree like it owed me money.
