From what I remember you gotta kill one of them, get the claw weapons and start a sparring match with it, mostly blocking, it will get tired so you have to feed it battle tartare and shadow steak saute, this increases its taming affinity and gives it energy to keep sparring, continue until fren(is fren shaped)
