Chapter 7: The Feline

Shadow ran and ran, the gentle early morning wind caressing his and Ragnar's fur. They reached the island's volcano and hid under a rock that was impossible to reach, as only a thylacoleo's claws could climb.

Ragnar climbed off Shadow's back and yawned, falling asleep. Shadow stared at the moon, his dark gray color fading, as if the alpha rex was tormenting him. Suddenly, a voice was heard from the moon.

"Reborn... KAY!"

Suddenly, Shadow stopped being that evil thylacoleo who was dead inside. He was now Kay, Ragnar's non-biological older brother.

Suddenly, Ragnar woke up and saw a saber-toothed fang. He touched it, and it turned... into a juvenile saber-toothed tiger! He immediately turned back into a cat and fell asleep.

They both slept together. Suddenly, it was daylight and the friends woke up.

"Wow, Shadow, you look incredible," Ragnar said.

"Come on, Ragnar, let's go find food and water," Kay said.

Both felines went to the river to drink water and killed a couple of Dilophosaurus along the way. Suddenly, Ragnar began to float, and the same voice that had spoken to Kay said, "Ragnar, go find the nine tribes of the island and save the island like I did..."

Strange symbols shone on Ragnar's back. It looked like a feline skull. Kay saw the same symbol appear. Suddenly, Ragnar returned to the ground, and the symbols of the brothers stopped shining. They were marked like tattoos.

The episode is epic!
