-Grim Reapers- Chapter 6 Talon staggered after Spinenefrus until they came upon a pile of bodies, mostly made of fish and dodos. “What happened here?” Talon said. “ It is my catch that I caught today.” the warrior mumbled softly. The reaper glanced around and realized he heard water. Talon stumbled to the sound and saw a lake, not very deep, maybe only as tall as a rock drake, but it was water, and he needed it. He lowered his head and drank deeply. He could think, and his mind overflowed with questions for Spinenefrus, the most common, “How did you know my mom?” Talon didn’t ask this, for he feared that it would offend him. Instead he asked a different question. “How did you become an agent?” Spinenefrus chuckled and said, “O young one, you shall want to prepare thyself, for my tale is as bloody as a dragon’s den; I was hatched on darkest day, and my caretaker, Mia, which if you did not know is guardian of the east gate at Nameless’s lair, grabbed me and hauled me over in front the leader of the Mountian tribe. “THIS THING IS A DEMON!!” She shrieked, shaking me. “I TOLD YOU THAT ESENNI’S EGG WOULD HATCH TODAY, BUT NO, YOU DIDN’T LISTEN, BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU ARE SOOO POWERFUL!!” This whole time she was yelling I had slipped from her grasp and was crawling along the floor, back to my egg, where no one could harm me. “Mia, I understand you are angry, but please do not treat me this way.” The leader said. “I’m sure he will find his way out of here. And look, he’s trying to get away, the smart little thing.” At this, Mia lunged for me, claws outstretched. I hopped out of her reach and, a look of fear and alarm flashing through her face, she crashed into the wall. The leader came over and grabbed me, and whispered softly, “Thy shall be known as Spinenefrus, the Demon that hatched on darkest day.” I was overjoyed to have a name, but terrified for what would bring.” The warrior stood up, picked up the sleeping bundle of a little reaper, and stalked off to his den. 5 positive votes and another one is out on Yuty page.
