-Grim Reapers- Chapter 5 “WHAT?!”, Nameless roared. He grabbed the raptor and shook her. “I can take you to them if you-“ Nameless didn’t hear the rest, for he had leaped out his window and was gliding towards the battle. He saw the Warden, a fearsome basilisk named Otto, fighting three sabertooths, and Mia, the guardian of the east gate, fending off multiple raptors, with wounds across her sides. He joined the battle by leaping onto a Forest Titan and shredding the back of its head. A sudden yell made him whip his head around to see who had made it. It was Mia, her wing pinned to the ground by a Carcha, who was snapping his bloody jaws hungrily. “NO!”, Nameless shouted, and leaped off his opponent to kill the Carcha. A streak of red crashed into him mid-flight and sent him crashing into a tower. The impact was rough and sent daggers of pain throughout his body. His vision was blurry as he struggled to get up and drive the enemy force back. Nameless looked down at where he had last seen Mia, but he only saw a trail of blood, as if someone had dragged someone else. He jumped off, the motion sending more pain across his body, and followed the trail to an open door inside, covered in blood. He peeked inside and saw Mia, panting, with blood smeared across her face and a torn wing. She saw him and said,“I’ll follow you, Sir, though I not might see tomorrow.” “No.”, Nameless said. “Go to the Medicine Wing and ask them to address your wounds.” Mia bowed her head, mumbled under her breath, as if she wanted to argue, and went to the Medicine Wing. He went back out and saw that the battle was finished, and sighed. He followed Mia to the Medicine Wing, and, after his wounds were treated, Nameless finally got the rest he deserved. 5 positive votes and next is out on Salmon page. Sorry this chapter was so long!
