spinos are literally wizards, me and my cousin had been playing on the island, we were not very far into the game, he had a pteranodon and i had a raptor, we noticed a spino relatively close to our base, so we perched up on a mountain and started to shoot at it with our crossbows, we were also taming a tapejara at the time, so we noticed it was getting low on torpor and took just a quick moment to force feed it narcoberries (it was right behind us at the time), once we finish doing that we look back to see the spino is gone, “where is it?” “where did it go?”, i slowly look behind me and there it is, right there, i swiftly hop on my raptor after letting out a little yelp, my cousin gets on his pteranodon, it runs at us and after a long battle, we killed it, we healed up our dinos, the tapejara tamed, it was all good, moral of the story, watch out for spinos teleporting behind you randomly for some reason. - bluberi777
