Chapter 4: Redwoods Adventure

Story starts in Achantina, ABC through The Island and has a Prologue. Last chapter in Ammonite, next chapter in Brontosaurus

Sodden was in a barn, holding some raptor eggs in his hands. He put them down near some standing torches. There were pens surrounding the hatching area, with 4 raptors in each. He walked outside of the barn, and his large wood house was to the left of it. There were gates and spike walls surrounding the base. He spent two weeks working on this. That day, Sodden was hoping on continuing his adventure to get all creatures killed. He took a deep breath then walked into his house. He collected a bag full of meat and water jars. There were tranq arrows in it if he wanted to tame something. He saw a raptor outside the door. It was his most loved raptor. “Oh. Hey, Reaper. How you doing? This would be a great chance to get you some levels.” Sodden said as he pet his raptor. It chittered then screeched. Sodden knew he was excited. He got on then opened the gates. He then ran off into the forest. Then as he got closer to the swamp, he heard a noise. There was a strange sound, but it sounded terrible. Like something was broken. But when it got louder, it sounded more familiar. “Wait… I thought I just heard a Giga. C tribe must be here. Well… I guess I gotta stay away from them.” Sodden said. The raptor ran in the opposite direction to another part of the Redwoods.

After some time, he approached a tall mountain. It had many metal, and was almost as tall as the red trees, stretching to the sky. He then heard snuffing. It sounded like a Ankylosaurus. Sodden turned around and there were two right in front of him. He was sure to check the levels before killing them, and thank god he did. “Oh, god. That’s… metal for days right there. Sweet Jasper Berries! I cannot let C tribe see that.” Sodden yelled. He jumped off of his raptor and walked to the Anky that had a dark green color on its back and gray-colored legs. He moved it into a small hole to hide it, because he knew C tribe was here. He had his raptor kill the other anky. Then he ran higher up the mountain and saw two birds. A Archaeopteryx was leaping from tree to tree. Sodden took out a bow and readied an arrow. Then he let go of the string and the arrow flew right into the bird’s head and it fell to the ground. Then Sodden turned to the side of him and saw a Argentavis. He shot arrows at it until it collapsed. Sodden used 27 arrows, and when he looked at his implant, he discovered why. “You killed an Argentavis (Level 150)!” Then Sodden heard yelling. “That idiot just killed a max level Argy!!” Someone yelled. “That’s the one who’s hunting all creatures!” Another person yelled. Sodden immediately ran away in tears and fear. “I knew he’d be a pain in the neck! Grease, kill him!!” Someone yelled. Then Sodden heard loud stomping. It was getting closer. “No! Stop! Let them go! There’ll be other Argies!” Someone yelled. Then they ran to Sodden and grabbed him and his raptor. “You need to leave now.” The person said. “Oh, hey. Please explain what the heck is happening?!” Sodden yelled. “I can’t. Their control over people is too much. They control what I do. So they’d make me kill you if they ever saw this.” The person said. Minutes later, she set Sodden down on the ground, just off the waters of the swamp. “Sodden… I will try my best. I know… deep inside… you’re the one to destroy the Assassin Heart.” The person said. “Ok… tomorrow… we’ll meet again. You have to tell me. And besides.., I’d have to go to Extinction to destroy that. And I promise… I’ll try.” Sodden said. Serenity nodded and ran back to the Redwoods. Sodden shot a bloodied Baryonyx to death, then got on his raptor and ran all the way back to his base.
