“Well what exactly do you want to talk about?” John asked. Andromeda let go of his arm.

“It’s about… this Clan in general,” Andromeda answered, “Look. They’re not good people, okay? I don’t know if you know but they’re using you-”

“I joined on my own accord,” John replied, “Okay? They’re not using me. They…”

“Why did you join to begin with? You don’t need them! From what I can tell you know a lot already! You’re good at taming dinosaurs, whatever that even means, you’re strong… you can do things on your own. They NEED you, but you don’t need them.”

“I joined because nobody else wanted to take me in so willingly!” John shouted, his eyes blazing with fury, “Even back home nobody wanted me. Not even my own family who dumped me in the trash, not my friends who kicked my back in, not my girlfriend who cheated on me! Sand Clan are the only ones who care about me!”

John stormed off.

Andromeda was speechless.

“Wait, John,” Andromeda called out, walking after him, “Really I didn’t know you went through all that.”

John looked back, “Just leave me alone! You don’t even care about me.”

Andromeda halted in her steps, and sighed.

“He is somewhat right,” Andromeda thought, “Maybe I should just leave him alone.”

Andromeda looked up at the night sky. Deborah had claimed that Phoenix Clan would wage war on Sand Clan soon. How soon? Perhaps it would be this night. Andromeda didn’t want to take that risk. However, John seemed keen on staying. Andromeda would have to figure out how to make John understand the gravity of the situation.

Andromeda rubbed her forehead, and sighed.

“Poor guy. He shouldn’t even be on this island.”

Andromeda exited the large building and looked ahead at the large forest.

After much thinking, she decided to enter, wishing to think and reflect.
