ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion

(context: my world's max level is 63. it's my first time on pc, ok? had 100+ hours on mobile. also, my world is modded.)

found a tek one of these that was level 64, im thinking "ooooh new berry gatherer" LITTLE DID I KNOW HOW STRONG THEY ARE. kod it w/crossbow and tranq arrows, by just running from it and turning around to shoot. that won't always work but it worked for me.

named her alice after a character with the same name from halo. now, before this, i had lost my beloved sarco 'godzilla' between the swamp and redwoods. got microraptor'd next to a theri and you can guess what happened to my survivor. i was going to try to tame a theri but while looking for one in a canoe i was very close to the swamp.

went "screw it," threw her out of the soul ball, changed plate modes, and proceeded to just march through the swamp and redwoods till i got my sarco back. at that time she had 5.1k hp, 400% melee, 3.2k torpor, and 1.7k stamina. obviously trying to avoid really dangerous things.

respect 100, these guys are great. i thought i was only immune to raptor pounces but it turns out kapros, thylas, and microraptors can't dismount you either. 10/10, would recommend as early/mid-game tames. slow, but tanky especially with the hardened plates, and their tails pack a punch too. it's fun to impale pegos.

also: one of the thylas missed me and hit a rock somehow and it was funny
