While John and Mei-Yin were fighting the Desert Titan, Santiago was distracting the smaller Titans and the other three largest: The Forest Titan, Ice Titan, and the King Titan. The Forest Titan was almost caught up with him, while the other two razed the city's defenses. It fought against Santiago when he got in his Mek. It fought stronger every minute that passed. He was up against all of the Titans now, and they broke through his powerful defensive tactics. Santiago was knocked out of his Mek and killed by the King of Shadows.
