Chapter 5 - [Revenge is Quite Sweet...]

A few days went by. Blazefire had messed up everything Eclipse had strived for. The Shadow Realm was filled with poverty, people were starting to starve, and of course, Blazefire was benefiting from it. Nobody had seen the ruler in ages, except for Albus. But from how they acted, they didn't think they wanted to see the ruler…

“ALBUS, GET OVER HERE THIS INSTANT!”

By the sounds of scrambling outside her door, Blazefire assumed they were coming. She looked down at her hand, staring at the dark red color that had overtaken her pitch blackness. The door swung open, and Albus skittered in, closing the door behind her

“Yes, Your Majesty?”

“Tell me, is anything different about my appearance today? Beside the..more red coloring. I am already aware of that.”

“W-Well..uhm..Y-Your eyes are….gaining a reddish tint…”

“Ah. I see. That is..troubling, but I suppose it doesn't matter.”

She stared quietly. Everything but herself was a gray tint. There was no color to anything. Her normally colorful chambers were…so gray…she looked back down at her hands, the only color she could see…and smiled. Her vision flickered again, and her hands were slowly dissolving in blood.

“You know, I’ve always wanted to see the life fade out of someone's eyes…”

Her head slowly turned over to Albus

“........Y-Your..y-your m-majesty…..?”

The screams echoed throughout the castle, before slowly fading into a low gurgle. Oh, how it felt to be in control of whenever someone lives or dies….
