Ark Tales: Therizinosaurus

Chapter 1

4 Azulberries were sitting on top of a fern. Then suddenly three huge sharp claws sliced through them. They were apart of a Therizinosaurus claw. As Rake put these berries in his mouth, he heard his Dad calling him over. As Rake ran over to his Dad, he swore heard roaring from a distance. He thought about for second before saying “it’s probably nothing.” As he passed Parasaurs and Dodos he ended up behind Striker, or better known to Rake as Dad. As Striker gave some Rockarrots to Rake, Rake asked “ What’s that creature in the distance?” Striker replied “That’s a Brontosaurus. They are peaceful unless you provoke them” But then as the sun started to set, Striker heard roaring. He turn to Rake and said “That sounds like a Hungry Rex. We should find a cave to sleep in before it finds us.” As they wander around in the Dark Forest, they run into a clearing where they see a Rex Eating the corpse of a Parasaur. It hears them and turns around. Then it says “I am Crasher or the Ruler of these woods. Nobody enters without a toll.” Striker replies by saying “ We’re just passing through, just let us go and we’ll be out of your scales.” “But that’s not enough. I wonder how Therizinosaurus meat tastes like” As Striker put his claws up in a defensive stance he shouts “Run Rake!” As Rake turns around he run a little bit before looking back. To his Horror He could only watch as Crasher pushes his Dad into a tree and then he heard the sounds of bones cracking. As tears start falling out of his eyes, he looks forward and keeps running as he hears Crashers loud roar in the distance. Rake keeps running until he can’t anymore then looks up to see the sun rising. Realizing how much he ran, he stops to rest, and in doing so he mumbles “I’ll avenge you Dad. I’ll kill Crasher.”And then he collapses under a tree. As he falls asleep he dreams of him and his Dad watching the sun rise.
