Chapter 1

Waking out of nowhere not remembering what happened yesterday, pecking my body, was a dodo ‘what happened? Why am I here? What is this place? How did I get here?’ I asked myself some questions. ‘What is this on my arm? It’s orange and sure seems very itchy but, it won’t hurt to just itch it.’ I thought again. The dodo pecked my foot. “Ow!” I cried in pain. ‘What happened to my armor!? Why is it gone!?’ I got up off the sand. Water touching my legs, sand heating my feet up. I see the dodo running just in case I try to fight him. “No! Don’t run! You’ll be ok with me!” The dodo was already gone. I searched everywhere for the teal and black headed dodo. “Found you!” I gathered berries and dropped them by its side. It’s wings wiggled a bit and it grabbed a berry and started chewing the berry. “Im going to name you…Neon.” For now on my dodo is called neon. I gathered wood, thatch, and stone to make some items. I made a campfire, a stone pick axe, stone hatchet, and a couple of stone arrows. “Few, now all I need is a bow.” I said talking to neon. My stomach growled. “But first, I need something to eat. I saw some paras nearby. Let’s kill them for meat ok neon?” Neon didn’t care what I did he just wanted me safe. I started making a bow. “Finally, I made a bow. Now we can kill the paras for meat.” I started shooting the para for meat. The para was quick. “You are quick but not quicker then me!” I yelled. I shot the para one more time and it finally died. I harvested its meat and started making a cooking pot near the fire I made. I cooked the meat and started eating. I now have a level up! I leveled me and neon up. I was now level 2 and now he was level 42. I heard big stomps heading towards me. “Oh no..that’s a…” I couldn’t guess. Neon spoke in my mind ‘Rex…’ i was surprised that I could hear neon in my mind. ‘I guess we’re so attached to each other that we can hear each other.’ I thought.
