ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion

i've been on the south beach for a while in a tiny thatch hut. it's probably day 4 or 5, i'm level 20-30 something. day 2, iirc, i'm riding my turtle, salad, down the beach. off in the distance i see a baryonyx. i decide not to go any further, but this thing continues to mentally torment me for the next few days.

i decide to move inland onto a nice clear hill in-between the forest. while i'm on my first trip, salad dies to a pack of 4 troodons. i decide to take my trike next time (my only other tame). i kill the troodons. i then spend a day or two moving and building a new stone base. during the process, i get thirsty and go down to the beach to get a drink. before i reach the water, i see the baryonyx. right in my way of the shore. i end up getting so frustrated i kill it with commands and vow to never speak of it again. so now i'm free of the baryonyx.

i'm finally done building my little house, and i'm currently moving my stuff to it. i get thirsty again so i go down to the beach at night. i can't see so i have a torch. i brought my trike. this time i make it to the water and get a nice drink. i go back uphill to my house, and there i find myself a new problem. a therizinosaur. right next to my house. i couldn't see it until it came into the range if my torch. miraculously, i run to the other side of my house and log off without it aggro-ing (i'm on singleplayer btw)

now i come here to think of a plan to get rid of it. i'm probably going to lead it off the cliff near my house.
