Chapter 1: A pig approaches

I woke up in a strange place. The beach was full of animals. There was a big giraffe-looking thing with a nose on the back of its neck. There was something that looked like a shaggy ostrich, which I tried talking to. "What are you and where am I?" I said. The shaggy ostrich looked at me in a puzzled way, like it never heard of a human before. "I know it seems kind of ludicrous that I'm talking to a shaggy emu that definitely doesn't understand English, but all of these other things look like they're way dangerous. So, can you squawk a yes to my guess on where I am if I'm correct?" I asked the bird. The bird looked at me, cocking its head from side to side as if it was waiting for something. Then it squawked and pointed to my left. I turned and looked, saying, "Thaa... WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!!" now I was the one pointing, the one pointing at a running lizard-thing that looked hungry for humans!! The lizard ran in my direction, spitting green tar at me. Green tar!? That is not normal. Then a pig-looking thing charged— but not at me— at the lizard-thing. The pig oinked and tripped the lizard. "Uuh! None of this makes sense!" I yelled. "What freaking world is this??!??"
