Raptor chapters: part one

I… I don’t know how I have gotten so smart. When I was in pack, the pack, I guess I never thought about anything but eat and hunt. Hunt and eat. Eat and hunt. Now that I am in the master’s pack, I think more. It is odd, the creatures I used to call food are now ally’s. Odd that The Master keeps them around. The Master is odd. They eat meat, but transformed under the red plant. I swear I have also seen them eat the food that the pray eat. Odd indeed. I like this new pack. In my old one I was just worried about hunting, and about things hunting me. Now, if I don’t catch anything, I still eat. Now, if I mess up a hunt, I don’t get punished. And if I get attacked, I have many to protect and defend. Now I fell safe. I only hope I can protect The Master and my ally’s. I am Dakota. And I am a raptor.
