These Dinos are really good at gathering berries, I normally play on mobile but one trick I found is that if you are trying to gather crops (rockarrot) then instead of spamming the gathering (swipe up) you should move closer to the jungle fern and then swipe up. This has worked for me but not sure if it was just a coincidence, and also not sure if this works on other platforms other then mobile. I was able to use this to take a high level bronto for my pursuit hopefully this works for you too.
