Also here’s an interesting fact, people still speak Egyptian, not Arabic but Egyptian Egyptian. It’s called Coptic and it uses the Greek alphabet but some symbols are derived from Hieroglyphs.
Sadly it’s now only a Church language used in the Coptic Church.
