I agree, we’re resilient, Apex, but these “haters” (if you must call them that) are striking home very hard. I mean, have you looked in Black dye?

I’ve found that by this point, over the length of time the fanfiction community has been around, that there can’t be one without someone who’s against it every now and again. It should be expected because it’s going to happen. We can’t stop it from coming, so we might as well embrace it; a hater is only existent if there is a lover.

Haters are people who are jealous of someone’s success so they waste their own precious time on voicing their disliking opinion. And there can’t be people who dislike it without people who like it! And with the amount of people who DO support and encourage our writing, we shouldn’t even wag a finger to the people who outcry the negativities.
