Prologue: thorn, the thorn bush basilisk

The terra Ark is a strange Ark, filled with creatures whose DNA has mutated to inhabit the flora filled Ark. one of the strange creatures that live on this Ark, is thorn…

“Steady, you goddam rosé raptor!” Thorn hissed, in a quiet tone, as to not alert the rose tail tipped, thorn less and tooth less raptor, who’s scales glimmered in the light from the sun. The rosé raptor was sniffing a plant on the ground, checking that the plant was safe to eat. When the raptor was just about to eat the plant… Thorn dashed towards the rosé, but the floral creature avoided his pounce, and ran away.

“Sh*t! Again? That’s the third this week! Ugh! If thorn bush basilisks couldn’t live without food for so long, I would be died now!” He scoffs, spitting a pool of venom at the ground. He slithered away, spotting a burrow on the ground.

“Perfect.” He growled, glancing towards the triple spikes that were slightly hidden under ground. Thorn bit the middle spike, ripping it off of the tail, of a silver bloom basilisk. The silver bloom roared in pain, as Thorn dashed for the neck of the silver bloom. Catching the basilisk by the neck, as it desperately tries folding out it’s frills to flap away the attacker.

“Stop holding back! You’ll die anyway!” Thorn growls with his vipers stuck in the silver blooms neck, as venom kept on flowing into its body. Eventually the silver bloom fell, died. Thorn roared in victory, as he then started his meal.

The next day, Thorn slithered towards the water, to bathe his dirty and battle damaged body. His scars had been infected from the silc gas, which was emitted from the silver bloom during they’re battle. When he reached the river, he saw a portal, it was big enough for him to fit through, but he slithered past it, only to be dragged backwards, towards the portal, he couldn’t stop it. His head went through, and then… darkness.
