You don’t trap it you just stand there and it will come to you (you see hearts icons on it ) when it comes close feed it chitin (put it in the last slot of the bar ) and it will fly away don’t follow it it will come back once its hungry again , you just track it in the taming list and make sure it doesn’t go too far away (more than 100m) it might get stuck on buildings or rocks on its way back to you
