Chosen By God, prologue

The Umayyads, a group of Muslims who’s territory stretched from the Atlantic to Central Asia, taking control of the Iberian peninsula from the visigoths brought them to……the Franks. The Franks were a tribe who had occupied Gaul, at the Battle of Tours the Franks crushed the Umayyads, so now, the stage was set, for Frankish war and what would ultimately become….the Holy Roman Empire.
