Yeah, also for the record Europe and South America are continents not Nation states. Also that’s the 19th century so like 200 years, way more recent than a thousand years. Asia is also a continent, and Antarctica is mostly claimed by countries but the Antarctic accords don’t recognize any claims but don’t prohibit any, furthermore there’s already an unrecognized micro state known as Westarctica occupying the kargest unclaimed region so….
