Sarcos are really useful in singleplayer! when you buff up their health and damage they shred. I have a lvl 51 and it really helps. Also they can kill megalodons easily and escape from things. They dont take much tranq arrows and you just need some meat. Or if you have a friend you could get one early by knocking them out with slingshots.
