The doedicurus is great for stone and is one of the most useful dinos mid game to build a stone base. However, the doedicurus' weight is extremely low, so you are best off using a queztal (Center and Island) or a paracer (Scorched Earth) with a platform saddle to carry the doedicurus. The animal used to carry the doedicurus will not recognize its weight so u can mine as much stone as you want without having to make constant trips. This is easiest if you have two people but it can be done with just 1.
