Chapter two

Two years later...

Aidan was forty one now, it had been a long time since the day he lost his hand to the purple ferociraptor, and now it was a distant memory. The left side of his face was horribly burnt, and he was missing his left ear and eye, so he wore an eyepatch, and always wore a hood to cover up the fact that he was missing the hair on the left side of his head. The right side of his face wasn’t unharmed either, there was a long scar running down the side of it, and two teeth were missing from his mouth. Aidan had not fared well in the desert of scorched earth, his scars and burns had been caused by brutal attacks from thorny dragons, terror birds, raptors and a Phoenix, which was the cause of his burns. Aidan’s personality had changed too, he was no longer the kind hunter he was when he lived with Sam, a fellow hunter that had died long ago. Sams death had changed him, he was brutal, and didn’t show much mercy, the nomad tribes of scorched earth referred to him as the Hunter, The Killer, or The Rogue, he often avoided them, but this would all change soon...
