As the soldiers celebrated, Spark tried to figure out what to do. Then he remembered the stories.

“Everyone! Animals are coming back, which means we are in great danger. We cannot make it to our original base before we would be defeated. However, this terminal can teleport us. I understand some of you hope to return to earth?”

The crowd cheered. Everyone gathered on the terminal. Jenny was at the front as it began the countdown.

“Are you three coming?”

“Yes, but everyone else must make it before we do. First ones in, last ones out.”

“Alright then. It’s been an honor serving with you. See you on the other side.”

With that, there was a great flash. A few seconds later a voice in the terminal announced that the teleportation was successful.

“Guess it’s our turn now.” Alex said.

The countdown began.

“I wonder what earth will be like now.” Jennifer said.

“Well I can’t wait to actually see it for once.” Said Alex.

“You mean you have never seen earth?” Spark exclaimed.

“Nope. She was born on ragnarok.” Answered Jennifer.

‘5’’4’’3’’2’’1’ teleportation activated.

“Here we go!” Yelled Spark. There was a blinding flash, and they were gone.

Teleporting was a weird thing. Then a voice came into all of their heads.

‘System failing. Rerouting to nearest ark. Another flash of light. They were now in a cave.
