Journey: Chapter 3

Forest woke up before their was light out to watch the sunrise, he was suppose to meet the rest of the five at the green obelisk to converse and to do a surprise that he had set up for all of them.

Before he left the cave though, he went into the small cave where one thing hadn’t changed. The plant, it was still alive and thriving in the cave. He quickly grabbed a leaf without hurting the plant.

Looking at the leaf. Forest kept remembering how he left without telling any of his family the first time, he wasn’t doing that again ever. He told his parents that he was leaving in the early morning to go to the redwoods and would come back the day after the celebration.

The five were going to stay in the castle from today to the day after the celebration at Prince Coal’s request. Forest knew he would see his family at the celebration. But for some reason, he felt today would be the last he would see them in a long while.

He shrugged off the feeling and got packed, he packed the rune as it was part of the surprise. He quickly looked at each of his family members before leaving and then he went up to watch the sunrise.
