Never to be free: pt 1

Shade was starving. It had been five years since he had been taken from home. All there was to eat was… rotting flesh. Disgusting.

“You… get back to work!” A summoner screeched. How Shade wished he could tear the ugly thing to pieces! But he went on dragging the cart of… of… well Shade wasn’t sure what it was. It was a liquid something. And a solid sort of darkish blue tablet. Shade hated the smell of the stuff. It smelled… dark. Strange. Unfamiliar. Like evil. Shade wished Moon was here with him. She would make things so much easier, more hopeful. But Moon was gone. Dead.

Sorry for the short chapter. Also an FYI I cannot get genesis one or two so I have no idea what the creatures are like except for their pictures.
